North Carolina Lt. Governor Walter Dalton(D) has officially begun his campaign for governor.
Dalton is one of three Democrats competing to replace Governor Bev Perdue(D), who announced last month she will not seek re-election.
Dalton made his official announcement in Durham and signaled the remaking of North Carolina’s economy will be his top campaign issue.
